TEDxUofT is for the curious who believe passionately in the power of ideas. We’re building a platform of free knowledge and entertainment from the some of Toronto’s most inspired thinkers, and a community of curious souls to engage with their ideas and with each other.
Each year, we explore groundbreaking ideas with Toronto’s most talented leaders, innovators, creatives, and researchers. Our seventh annual conference will feature 12 speakers and 2 performers, and will be formatted in a way that allows our speakers and attendees to digest and debate the talks. We hope our audiences will leave as empowered agents of positive change.
Join us at our conference on March 10th for a full day of talks, performances, and discussion, focused on the theme of ‘Deconstruct’.
To deconstruct is to strip away layers of abstraction and to uncover the essence of a concept. By deconstructing complex concepts into their fundamental ideas, we can discover how universal and relatable these concepts are. At our 2018 conference, the TEDxUofT community will come together to share, deconstruct, internalize ideas, and walk away with new and broader perspectives.
On behalf of everyone on the TEDxUofT team, we would like to earnestly thank you for your time and more importantly, your ideas. We know that with your help, TEDxUofT can be the spark to engage both our community, and the world.
