Toronto debut Violinists Amy Schroeder and Keiko Tokunaga, violist Luke Fleming, and cellist Andrew Yee formed the Attacca Quartet at the Juilliard School in 2003. They have studied with the Emerson, Juilliard, Miró, St. Lawrence, Tokyo and Vermeer quartets. They have appeared several times at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall and in 2009 were string quartet-in-residence for the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Winner of the Grand Prize at the 60th annual Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition in 2006, in 2011 they won the 7th Osaka International Chamber Music Competition.
