The 497 seat Jane Mallett Theatre offers an intimate theatre environment with superior sight lines and exceptional acoustics. The semi-circular thrust stage is ideal for productions ranging from a single speaker to the most demanding audio-visual presentation.
Staffed by in-house professional technicians, the Jane Mallett Theatre can accommodate all types of theatrical or corporate presentations including concerts, plays, award ceremonies, stand-up comedy, fundraising events, speakers, films, corporate meetings, conferences and small scale musicals as well as broadcast, recording and webcasting. The theatre comes equipped with a house lighting plot and sound system. A 16’x9′ screen, 8K projector, switcher and wireless handheld and lavalier microphones are available at an additional cost.
Immediately adjacent to the theatre are the Jane Mallett upper and lower lobbies, which can accommodate the most stylish pre or post event receptions. Featuring a fully licensed bar, your guests can enjoy their drinks in the lobbies or take them into the theatre to enjoy during the performance. Lobby amenities include spacious and accessible washrooms and coat check facilities to accommodate your guests. A prominent feature signage wall and programmable plasma screens ensure that your message will be delivered.
The backstage area at the Jane Mallett Theatre features secure Stage Door access, four dressing rooms each with washrooms, a 6-person dressing room, a rehearsal hall and Green Room with kitchen facilities.
